Washtenaw Community College played a key role in the inaugural Future Automotive Career Exposition (FACE) held January 20-21 at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).
While the field is far from gender-balanced, studies indicate a steady increase in the number of men in nursing over the past four decades. The 31 men currently enrolled in the nursing program at WCC are part of that growing number.
During the Fall 2017 semester, WCC faculty members used textbook alternatives in 21 different classes, generating an estimated savings of more than $858,000. That raised the college’s cumulative total to $1.79 million since 2014.
